Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Operations collaborates closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior executives to formulate strategic, operational, and financial initiatives that align with UC Irvine Health's objectives.
This role entails providing leadership to the medical center, overseeing the launch of new facilities, and directly managing specific departments within the health system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with clinical, nursing, operational, and administrative leaders to meet strategic and operational targets.
- Ensuring the medical center operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the financial success of UC Irvine Health.
- Overseeing daily operations and working with health system leaders to achieve patient experience and financial performance goals.
- Acting as the primary contact for all operational issues, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
Compensation and Benefits:
In addition to a competitive salary, UC Irvine Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and various employee discounts.
Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum: $194,700.00 | Midpoint: $308,700.00 | Maximum: $422,700.00
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following:
- Proven ability to develop and implement initiatives that enhance organizational performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships across the health system.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
- A minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Master's in Healthcare Management are highly regarded, along with experience in academic medical centers and knowledge of project management methodologies.
