Summary: ASM Global stands as the premier venue management entity and a leading producer of live event experiences, managing over 350 venues globally. Our commitment to excellence drives us to invest in growth, resources, and technology to enhance the experiences of our internal team members and create remarkable live events for our guests.
We are seeking a Vice President of Business Services to act as a key liaison among ASM Global's corporate leadership, regional executives, and local venues. This leadership position will support corporate initiatives and projects to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activation, Engagement, and Adoption: Enhance the activation of new programs and oversee the engagement and usage of various systems.
- Transformation Initiatives: Lead and facilitate transformation projects across ASM Global, including the development of new programs as needed.
- Centralized Programs Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain centralized programs and manage financial analyses related to these initiatives.
- Shared Services Strategy: Explore opportunities for shared services to drive operational efficiencies and financial benefits.
- Growth and Integration: Support contract renewals, new business opportunities, and transitions related to new venue openings.
- Functional Leadership: Oversee the recruitment and development of talent within the business services team, ensuring effective succession planning and participation in strategic planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing staff in accordance with ASM's policies, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing employee concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 5-7 years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3 years in a management role across multiple business units.
- Experience in the sports, entertainment, or venue management sectors is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- High energy and ambition to learn and innovate.
- Proven track record of delivering results and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required.
