Candidate Profile:

  • A proficient financial modeler with leadership experience in a Big4, consulting, or similar client service environment.
  • A corporate FP&A expert with prior experience in client services at Big4 or management consulting, or has acted as a strategic partner to C-level executives.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of Strategic Finance projects, including directing tasks for team members and maintaining client communication throughout the engagement.
  • Design and execute work streams involving complex quantitative analysis and detailed financial models to drive operational insights.
  • Ensure the quality of client deliverables, including reporting packages and KPI reports that showcase critical financial and operational trends.
  • Review and finalize analyses on financial and operational metrics, including cash flow and working capital.
  • Conduct gap analysis on financial operations, recommending enhancements to align with best practices.
  • Facilitate the implementation of best practices in financial operations.
  • Support junior team members in analyzing financials and addressing operational challenges.

Client Guidance:

  • Advise clients on integrating our reports and processes into their ongoing operations.
  • Lead meetings focused on financial discovery and change management.
  • Perform in-depth analyses to derive actionable insights from various data sources.
  • Consult with clients on adjustments to team structures and business processes.

Communication and Development:

  • Effectively communicate status updates on engagements to senior team members.
  • Engage in business development activities to foster new client relationships.
  • Actively participate in maintaining client relationships and exploring new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

Candidates for the Senior Vice President role should possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; advanced degrees such as MAC or MBA are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualified candidates should have over 10 years of relevant experience in financial consulting, FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking. Experience managing multiple team members across various projects is essential, along with the ability to provide hands-on technical training when necessary.

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $175k to $200k, complemented by a performance-based incentive bonus. Final title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and capabilities assessed during the interview process.
