We are seeking qualified part-time instructors for the Business Studies program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. A pool of qualified candidates is needed to teach in the following disciplines:
* Economics
* Business Administration
* Information Systems
* Accounting
* Data Analytics
* Business Law
* Marketing Strategies
* Entrepreneurship

Position Overview

  • Prepare instructional materials and presentations.
  • Articulate subject matter using a variety of teaching methodologies and strategies.
  • Develop and communicate a classroom management plan to students.
  • Deliver classroom instruction, demonstrate skills, assess student progress, and correct any unsafe or improper techniques.
  • Utilize Success Planner to monitor daily attendance.
  • Adhere to deadlines for reporting and grading.
  • Maintain grade records for documentation purposes.

Compensation: $765 per credit hour

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in leadership roles at a community college or educational institution is advantageous. Demonstrated teaching proficiency is the highest priority. Instructional experience and leadership roles at a community college are preferred. Proficiency in using online platforms is essential. Experience or interest in online instruction, technology integration for teaching, and project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of a Master's Degree in the relevant field at the time of application (or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in business). A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred.
