NorthWest Arkansas Community College is currently seeking qualified candidates to create a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in the Behavioral Sciences discipline.
Applications will be maintained for the fiscal year. When a position opens, the hiring department will review the applications on file. After the fiscal year concludes, applications will expire, and a new application must be submitted to remain in the applicant pool.
Compensation: $765 per credit hour
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs.
• Familiarity with campus and community resources.
• Awareness of state, federal, and campus regulations related to academic and social programs.
• Capability to coordinate activities of campus academic and/or social programs.
• Proficiency in evaluating information and formulating recommendations.
• Ability to compile information into report format.

While performing the functions of this position, the employee is:
• Frequently engaged in: manipulating items with fingers, including keyboarding; sitting; standing; and walking.

The employee must possess close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and/or visual inspection at close distances.

Required Qualifications
A Master's Degree in the relevant subject area is required for teaching transfer courses.
