Role Overview:

The Healthcare Services Coordinator plays a vital role in welcoming and registering patients with warmth and efficiency. This position involves guiding, directing, and scheduling patients and visitors to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients upon arrival and managing their wait times effectively.
  • Completing check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification and necessary documentation.
  • Collecting payments, issuing receipts, and managing daily financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Processing walk-in patients and handling incoming calls to schedule appointments.
  • Maintaining medical records, ensuring all correspondence is accurately filed and processed.
  • Building and nurturing effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with strong communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to travel occasionally for coverage at other locations as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Healthcare-related experience, particularly in scheduling.
  • Experience managing multi-line phone systems and triaging calls.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong cash handling skills and the ability to perform mathematical computations accurately.

  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
