Surgical Services Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Float Pool Operating Room Nurse to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Rotate to other ambulatory surgery center facilities to provide surgical services and support
- Utilize knowledge of surgical procedures to oversee instrument and equipment set-up, prepare for cases, and anticipate the needs of surgeons
- Coordinate and oversee the room during cases as the circulator, ensuring effective and efficient transitions between procedures
- Facilitate communication between surgical teams and PACU staff to ensure continuity of care
- Nursing Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
- Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
- Valid BCLS & ACLS Certifications required upon employment
- PALS certification within 90 days of employment
- CNOR certification preferred
