Your Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming patients and managing phone communications, ensuring all messages are accurately documented in our electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinating patient appointments for various services, including consultations and diagnostic tests.
- Registering patients by verifying and updating demographic information, while adhering to identification protocols.
- Collecting necessary documentation such as insurance cards and identification, and verifying insurance coverage for services.
- Informing patients about their financial responsibilities and assisting with payment processing.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and financial transactions.
- Preparing medical records for appointments by gathering relevant information and ensuring proper documentation.
- Promoting the mission and values of SCL Health while adhering to service standards.
Your Qualifications:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
