Order Entry Specialist

About the Role:
Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc. is a leading engineering company with a rich history of innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Order Entry Specialist to join our global team and contribute to the growth of our expertise in developing innovative solutions that drive a prosperous and sustainable society.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage department orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information and finalize orders.
- Interface with distributors and representatives to obtain missing order information.
- Coordinate with warehouse and assembly, shipping to ensure on-time delivery of orders to customers.
- Prepare internal reports as required.
Requirements:
- Superior customer service focus and technical aptitude.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of teamwork and urgency.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
- SAP experience is preferred, and a Bachelor of Science degree is also preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Typing.
