Role Overview
PAY RATE: $30-35 per hour

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

WORK HOURS: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at installing and maintaining production machinery and the facility's equipment. Your duties will include:
  • Conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.
  • Providing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Preparing and setting up machinery for planned production runs.
  • Utilizing mechanical skills, including mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
  • Executing electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and maintaining the facility.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and services.
  • Diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments.
  • Safely operating and repairing forklifts while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical training/experience with 480 3-phase/machine controls.
  • Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs is preferred.
  • A background in manufacturing methods and process improvement programs.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
  • The ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to safety and continuous learning and development.
  • Completion of training courses as determined by management.
