We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to and from the pharmacy, clinic, and resident homes. This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Key Responsibilities- Load vehicles with medications and products for delivery
- Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous manner
- Verify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items delivered
- Process any required paperwork according to established procedures
- Assist in maintaining a clean pharmacy environment by performing various housekeeping tasks
- Stock vials and other pharmacy supplies
- Perform light computer data entry
- Assist with medication reconciliation with business partners
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid applicable state driver's license and good driving record
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow maps and directions to customer locations
- Requires use of own vehicle to make deliveries, and proof of insurance
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Connecticut
- 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience
- Data entry skills
- Experience as a company courier/driver
