Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to and from the pharmacy, clinic, and resident homes. This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load vehicles with medications and products for delivery
  • Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Verify receipt and provide signature for receipt of items delivered
  • Process any required paperwork according to established procedures
  • Assist in maintaining a clean pharmacy environment by performing various housekeeping tasks
  • Stock vials and other pharmacy supplies
  • Perform light computer data entry
  • Assist with medication reconciliation with business partners
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid applicable state driver's license and good driving record
  • Demonstrated ability to read and follow maps and directions to customer locations
  • Requires use of own vehicle to make deliveries, and proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Connecticut
  • 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience
  • Data entry skills
  • Experience as a company courier/driver
