THE POSITION:
We are in search of an accomplished AI software architect with expertise in various AI software workflows, frameworks, and compilers to enhance our efforts in achieving optimal inference.

THE CANDIDATE:
As a Software Architect with a specialization in AI, you will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and implementing high-performance machine learning algorithms and models.

Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and refine software solutions that harness the capabilities of DirectML for accelerated AI computations. This position provides the chance to engage in pioneering projects, influence technical strategies, and mentor junior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the design, development, and enhancement of machine learning algorithms and models utilizing DirectML and other frameworks.
2. Architect and implement high-performance software solutions for AI applications, emphasizing scalability, efficiency, and precision.
3. Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to integrate features into our products and platforms.
4. Capture and influence hardware architecture with concrete data and insights from compilation challenges and the evolution of advanced AI models and frameworks.
5. Drive innovation by remaining abreast of the latest advancements in AI frameworks, workflows, and compilation techniques.
6. Actively contribute to the establishment of best practices within the field.
7. Mentor junior engineers, offering technical guidance and conducting code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive background in software engineering with a focus on machine learning, AI, or computer vision.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with performance optimization techniques for high-throughput computing.
- In-depth knowledge of DirectML, including its architecture, APIs, and optimization techniques for GPU acceleration.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX, and their integration with DirectML.
- Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms, neural network architectures, and model optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in parallel computing concepts and GPU programming using CUDA or OpenCL is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) is preferred but not mandatory.
