Position Overview:
Job Title: Senior AI Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust core APIs and SDKs to facilitate access to large language models (LLMs) and proprietary frameworks, including tasks related to training, fine-tuning, and prompting.
  • Create APIs optimized for performance, real-time applications, scalability, and automated governance.
  • Develop application-specific interfaces that leverage LLMs and frameworks to enhance user experiences for associates and customers.
  • Empower users to innovate new generative AI capabilities.
  • Establish tools and processes to monitor API usage patterns and ensure operational health.
  • Implement AI safety measures and guardrails within the API layer in collaboration with research teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and building data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing and cache optimization techniques
- At least 6 years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in building, scaling, and optimizing training or inference systems for deep neural networks.

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in developing large-scale AI products or platforms for natural language processing, speech recognition, computer vision, or recommendation systems catering to millions of users.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Experience in tech-driven companies or startups is preferred.
- Capacity to collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to enhance product experiences while establishing foundational capabilities.
- Familiarity with deploying large neural network models in high-demand production settings.
- Knowledge of API security, observability, cloud access control, and privacy best practices.

Location:
San Francisco, CA (Hybrid role with flexible work arrangements)

Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, influenced by factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
