Role Overview: AI System or Design Architect
The MediaTek SoC System Architecture team is dedicated to exploring system architecture and defining product specifications across all MediaTek product lines. This multidisciplinary team is engaged in shaping the system architecture for various product lines, setting product specifications, and investigating innovations aimed at enhancing user experience. In light of the significant advancements in AI technology, we seek a visionary leader to chart the future system architecture for AI applications, including the integration of AI into our architectural exploration methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the exploration of SoC system architecture to enhance AI applications across multiple sectors, including AI training and inference. Identify and deliver essential technologies while aligning the roadmap with various teams and vendors within the ecosystem.
- Envision and implement future methodologies for SoC system architecture exploration utilizing generative AI technology, spearheading this innovative path.
Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of prevalent AI models.
- Comprehensive knowledge of key AI use cases from edge computing to cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and TPU/NPU computing architectures.
- Proven experience in performance analysis of systems to identify key technologies and opportunities for next-generation systems.
- Ability to present technology roadmaps, anticipate future challenges, and assist internal technology teams in transitioning to next-generation architectures.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a strong executive presence.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI-related technology development, with at least 5 years in subsystem, SoC, or system architecture planning.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with teams based in Taiwan.
Compensation:
Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000. Employees may qualify for performance bonuses and various incentive programs. Actual total compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
