About the Position:

As a vital member of the Solutions Architect team at Anthropic Limited, you will champion the integration of advanced AI technologies by crafting tailored LLM solutions specifically for the Public Sector. Your blend of customer engagement experience and technical expertise will enable you to design innovative solutions that not only fulfill our clients' operational needs but also adhere to stringent technical specifications, ensuring reliability and safety.

In collaboration with our Sales, Product, and Engineering divisions, you will assist enterprise partners in embedding cutting-edge AI systems into their offerings. Your strong communication skills will be essential in articulating and demonstrating complex solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in pinpointing opportunities for innovation and differentiation within our AI systems while upholding our commitment to top-tier safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical consultant for potential Public Sector clients assessing Claude. Illustrate how Claude can meet their specific use cases through tailored proofs of concept. Provide expert guidance on integration, deployment, and best practices for adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with account executives to grasp customer requirements. Customize Claude's functionalities to demonstrate alignment with client needs. Develop bespoke pilots and prototypes, as well as evaluation frameworks to advocate for customer adoption.
  • Influence technical decision-making by advising on the optimal configuration, architecture, and integration of Claude within the client's existing systems. Propose solutions to overcome technical challenges.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding by coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure a smooth ramp-up and adoption process. Act as a continuous technical advisor throughout the implementation phase and beyond.
  • Occasionally travel to client locations for workshops, implementation assistance, and relationship building.
  • Establish a collective vision for developing solutions that promote safe and beneficial AI.
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions that leverage the capabilities of our latest models.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Platform Engineer within the Public Sector.
  • Possession of an active security clearance is mandatory.
  • Experience in designing unique and innovative solutions for technical platforms in evolving business sectors.
  • Strong technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineers and a solid foundation in software engineering.
  • Adept at navigating and executing in ambiguous situations, adapting to various domains based on the business challenges presented, and identifying straightforward, comprehensible solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, negotiating trade-offs, and managing competing priorities.
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering the success of others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments, adeptly managing trade-offs and competing priorities.
