Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the sales team, interior designers, and support personnel to surpass daily and monthly objectives.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Support the Store Manager and Interior Designer in implementing sales and design strategies.
  • Promote and enhance the In-Home Design Program.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies.
  • Effectively communicate the company’s mission, goals, and strategies to all staff members.
  • Coordinate office scheduling and operations.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • A degree in business or a design-related field (Bachelor's preferred, Associate acceptable).
  • A minimum of 2 years of successful professional experience.
  • Prior experience in managing large-ticket sales.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in customer service.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to read printed materials and computer screens.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Capable of sitting, standing, and moving around the gallery, including brisk walking.
  • Ability to kneel and lift items from the ground.
  • Must be able to lift furniture weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in typing and handling a tablet.
Additional Requirements:
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets of $20,000, with 40% from In-Home Design.
  • Drive the company’s vision and growth initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding dress code, in-home presentations, installations, and work schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new styles, colors, technologies, and products.

  • Competitive salary starting at $42,700, with additional commissions and bonuses. On average, our Assistant Sales Managers earn over $90,000 with commissions and bonuses.
