Core Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding shopping experience by following company service standards. Maintain a positive demeanor and a readiness to assist customers with their needs.
- Stay informed about current promotions and sales to effectively communicate with customers.
- Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and that the store remains clean and organized.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge and fitting expertise.
- Be vigilant regarding Loss Prevention issues involving both customers and staff.
- Assist with inventory management, including shipping and receiving, and help organize merchandise on the sales floor as required.
- Process transactions accurately at the point of sale, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Relationships
Engage with customers, collaborate with fellow Sales Associates, and interact with Store Management and District/Regional Managers.
Essential Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Basic communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal), organizational abilities, and proficiency in math. Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in specialty retail or footwear, is preferred. Familiarity with company policies and procedures, along with basic visual merchandising skills, is advantageous.
