The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in devising innovative solutions in response to federal government Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The ideal candidate will have a robust technical foundation in cybersecurity and exceptional writing capabilities to clearly convey intricate solutions.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with federal government clients to comprehend agency missions and project goals, identifying key challenges, requirements, constraints, and potential RFP evaluation standards.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and document cutting-edge solutions that meet customer specifications.
  • Draft comprehensive technical proposals, inclusive of architecture diagrams, solution designs, and implementation strategies.
  • Effectively present proposals and solution concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert during pre-sales activities, client discussions, and presentations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in application development, cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and methodologies for solution development and proposal generation.
  • Facilitate solutioning sessions with Subject Matter Experts and teaming partners.
  • Compose persuasive technical proposal content in response to RFP requirements.
  • Drive the development of innovative solutions that distinguish the company in the market.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in security roles such as CISO, ISSO, Cyber Engineer, Auditor, or similar, with a proven history of delivering solutions for federal government clients.
  • CISSP Certification or equivalent is mandatory, with additional cybersecurity certifications being highly desirable.
  • In-depth expertise in Cybersecurity across areas such as Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, policy, risk assessment, cyber-engineering, cyber-operations, vulnerabilities, and other enterprise cybersecurity domains.
  • Familiarity with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
  • Outstanding writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling proposals and technical documentation.
  • Solid understanding of federal government procurement processes, RFP evaluation criteria, and compliance mandates.
  • Experience in data management, AI, and ML technologies, application development, and their application in solution design is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
