Position Overview

This role involves executing Information Assurance and Cybersecurity functions to support the Xacta application suite. The selected candidate will be tasked with assisting clients in the administration of applications, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting a comprehensive enterprise deployment of the Xacta Software Suite, along with its interconnected systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients with the Xacta Software Suite, deployment strategies, and integration with security protocols.
  • Manage Windows or Linux system administration tasks.
  • Utilize scripting or coding skills to enhance system functionality.
  • Deliver technical and programmatic Information Assurance and Cybersecurity services to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with network and information security standards.
  • Assist Xacta software users with technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Propose enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for managing the Xacta application suite.
  • Maintain an Active Top Secret Clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED with 7+ years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 5+ years, a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience in cyber engineering.
  • Hold a DoD M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification.
  • Be capable of obtaining a DoD M Cyber Security Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Xacta software suite or similar Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) automation tools.
  • Background in systems security configuration or risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP).
