DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this capacity, you will oversee the evaluation of materials and workmanship on infrastructure enhancement projects, particularly focusing on extensive roadways and complex bridge systems, including interchanges and overpasses.
Your responsibilities will include verifying adherence to approved designs, standards, specifications, and contractual obligations, while employing engineering principles to make sound judgments regarding project completion.

This is a full-time position with working hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break.
Telework:
There may be opportunities for part-time telework.
To be eligible for telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location within Pennsylvania.
If teleworking is not feasible, you will have the option to report to the designated headquarters office. This position may also qualify for an alternate work schedule (AWS).Salary:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six years of civil engineering experience in the relevant specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or Five years of civil engineering experience in the relevant specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the relevant specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Other Requirements:
The residency requirement for Pennsylvania is currently waived for this title. You must be capable of performing essential job functions.
