Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned professional from the surveying industry to become a vital part of our expert team as a Land Survey Estimation Supervisor. This role entails being the primary contact for delivering quote estimates to clients in Florida, focusing on commercial and extensive acreage survey projects. You will handle requests for quotes from clients, the sales team, and customer service escalations for complex surveying tasks beyond standard residential surveys. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to engage directly with clients to comprehend their needs and the rationale behind their requests.

Client Focus

In this capacity, the Land Survey Estimation Supervisor will cater to both residential and commercial clients within the real estate, construction, and development sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely response and delivery of quotes to enhance close ratios and foster significant profitable growth.
  • Direct communication with clients to ascertain the fundamental reasons for their survey requests and to provide tailored scopes that align with their requirements.
  • Collaboration with internal teams to ensure that scopes are feasible and clearly communicating requirements to team members.
  • Utilization of the SurveySTARS system for delivering and tracking quotes, following up as necessary to support the sales team in securing new business.
  • Weekly reporting on quote KPIs and strategies aimed at generating new opportunities and improving win rates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Over 10 years of experience in surveying, civil engineering, or development roles, particularly in scoping and project coordination.
  • A minimum of 5 years in positions involving direct client interaction and communication.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and effectively utilize systems for tracking quotes and projects.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in surveying and survey research applications for accurate scope assessments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, both externally and internally.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a robust work ethic and a commitment to achieving goals.
