Overview: A key role within Boeing Future of Flight, the Senior Corporate Compliance Investigator will be responsible for conducting thorough internal investigations related to employee misconduct of varying complexities. This position is essential in fostering a culture of integrity and accountability within the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the company's anti-retaliation initiatives by identifying and probing retaliatory actions, while ensuring participants are aware of their protections against retaliation.
  • Collaborate effectively with departments such as Ethics, Human Resources, Legal, Quality, and Safety to ensure a unified approach to investigations.
  • Investigate intricate issues and assess adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Implement preliminary investigative strategies for complex cases, utilizing fundamental techniques to gather information and consult with subject matter experts.
  • Devise comprehensive investigative plans to identify potential issues, define the scope of investigations, and allocate necessary resources, including budget considerations and specialized tools.
  • Employ standard investigative methodologies to evaluate reported information and determine its relevance to the investigation.
  • Collect initial investigative data, including witness statements, electronic records, and physical evidence, to validate allegations and assess the need for further investigative efforts.
  • Regularly update stakeholders, including Reporting Parties, Human Resources, and Management, on the status of investigations and significant findings, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity are maintained.
  • Prepare detailed written reports that summarize the factual outcomes of investigations, adhering to approved formats within the electronic case management system.
  • Communicate investigative findings to relevant parties, including Legal, Ethics, and Human Resources, for appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Identify and document factors contributing to misconduct, while recommending strategies to mitigate future risks.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting complex investigations and managing the investigative process, including interviewing, data collection, and trend analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in formal employee-related investigations.
  • Experience in investigating workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and fraud-related incidents.
  • Familiarity with investigations involving union-represented employees.
  • Possession of certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC) is advantageous.
