Role Summary: The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive maintenance operations of aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and airworthiness standards. This role involves leading a team of mechanics, providing mentorship, and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the timely completion of all maintenance tasks in accordance with federal regulations and company policies.
  • Review and verify all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and conduct maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Actively participate in maintenance tasks and collaborate with the team to foster a productive work environment.
  • Facilitate crew meetings to promote effective communication regarding safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the maintenance team.
  • Execute Delegated Inspector responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of recent experience in commercial aircraft maintenance or MRO operations is preferred.
  • Possession of applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is essential.
  • Experience with engine removal and reinstallation, as well as troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with landing gear removal and reinstallation, along with troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with aircraft models such as 737, 767, and Airbus is advantageous.
