Our Outbound Sales team is a collaborative unit that upholds the highest standards while striving to meet both individual and collective objectives. We seek candidates with a strong background in cold calling, closing deals, and a genuine drive for success, particularly in Affiliate Marketing, SaaS, or technology sectors.

Your Profile:
You excel in comprehensive B2B prospecting and sales, adept at conducting discovery calls, delivering impactful demonstrations, negotiating terms, and maintaining a solid track record of securing new business. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and listening skills, self-motivation, resilience, coachability, a strong phone presence, and the ability to engage with home remodeling companies and contractors to cultivate meaningful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the acquisition of business from small to medium-sized enterprises
    • Identify new business opportunities through outbound communication methods including calls, emails, and social networking
    • Schedule appointments with contractors and home renovation firms
    • Drive sales initiatives for Modernize Home Services and connect with key decision-makers
    • Implement a consultative sales approach
  • Manage your sales pipeline and clearly communicate progress towards sales objectives
  • Oversee a comprehensive sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, employing a strategic sales methodology
  • Conduct sales meetings and present professional proposals to key stakeholders, fostering valuable business partnerships
  • Assist in developing financial forecasts and monitor operational efficiency
  • Follow up with business owners to ensure seamless integration of Modernize live-lead transfer services
  • Utilize CRM systems effectively to maintain accurate sales data and forecasts
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through strong client relationships
  • Delegate customer service inquiries to the Account Management team, focusing on sales
  • Engage in ongoing sales training and development
  • Achieve and surpass monthly sales targets

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in Affiliate Marketing, Live-Call Transfers, SaaS, or Technology
  • Proficient in a consultative, solution-oriented sales methodology
  • Proven history of exceeding sales quotas in competitive environments
  • Experience with CRM systems to manage sales opportunities, preferably with SFDC
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales or startup environment
  • A passion for sales and a strong 'hunter' mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to adapt to change and thrive in a high-growth setting

The anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 annually. This range is an estimate; actual compensation may vary based on the company's practices and the applicant's location. The role is also eligible for performance bonuses or commissions and equity in the form of restricted stock units. Employees may participate in the company's standard benefits programs, which include healthcare, retirement benefits, paid time off, and other tax-reportable benefits.
