About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Airgas. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the sales process and driving profitable sales growth within an assigned sales territory to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Plans: Develop and execute sales plans utilizing Airgas's sales directives and guidelines to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and onboard new accounts.
  • Further Penetrate Customer Accounts: Identify opportunities to further penetrate customer accounts and increase sales revenue.
  • Cultivate Customer Relationships: Cultivate customer relationships by developing a deep knowledge of the customer's business and establishing a consultative relationship.
  • Manage Contract Lifecycles: Manage contract lifecycles, including price reviews, renewals, and negotiations.
  • Identify and Manage Mode Changes: Identify and manage mode changes, engaging appropriate specialists to identify and manage processes.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry insights, current Airgas product mixes, and competitor information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a science, business, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 Years of Sales Experience: Minimum 3 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience, including proven experience and success in solution-selling concepts.
  • Knowledge of Customer Segmentation: Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritize the targeting of customers delivering the highest value to Airgas.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
