StaffBright is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a Corporate Automation Engineer. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role is centered around corporate initiatives, focusing on pre-production projects and collaborating with integrators. The position involves significant partnership with automation vendors and managing various automation projects across multiple facilities.
  • Engagement in the initial project sourcing process from pre-production to launch, which typically spans over 90 days, with some projects extending up to a year.
  • Accountable for the creation of all Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Equipment Specifications for capital investments and tooling requirements, including all contract services prior to the start of production.
  • Main point of contact for machining, automation, and capital equipment suppliers.
  • Overseeing the development of production processes and securing final approvals, which includes work cell layout, ergonomic workstation design, and line balancing.
  • Responsible for generating Prototype and Production Process Documentation extending through the initial 90 days of production.
  • Some travel may be necessary for project implementations, generally totaling around 12 weeks or less annually.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in Pre-Production Planning: Candidates should have a background in pre-production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Tire and Wheel Systems: Preferred candidates will have experience with chassis or brake components.
  • Expertise in Process Optimization: A strong background in process optimization and planning is essential.
  • Understanding of Sensor Integration: Familiarity with sensor integration complexities is required, particularly as the facility will utilize scanners for tire mounting.
