Position Overview: As a Control Systems Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing control systems and machinery through the utilization of Factory Information Systems (FIS) data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and drive improvements in control systems and equipment.
- Lead initiatives to troubleshoot and resolve equipment performance challenges.
- Coordinate resources to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions for manufacturing staff and plant electricians.
- Support the integration of control systems with IT frameworks, including FIS, Error Proofing, QWX, and QTS.
- Diagnose and rectify issues related to machinery, robotics, automation, and control systems.
- Utilize FIS plant monitoring software to analyze equipment cycle times.
- Oversee and coordinate project installations effectively.
- Reprogram machinery to accommodate engineering modifications and enhancements.
- Ensure the maintenance of program backups for automation and machinery.
