Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in model-based development methodologies for controller design
  1. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow is required.
  • Experience in scripting and automation utilizing MATLAB and Python.
  • Background in controller testing and validation using system simulation tools.
  1. Familiarity with tools such as Simulink, Amesim, Polyspace for static code analysis, and unit testing with Simulink Test.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in writing and debugging controller software in C and C++, including binary code generation using GCC and GHS Compiler, as well as ISOLAR for ARXML generation.
  • Knowledge of model-based embedded application software generation through Automatic Code Generation technology.
  • Experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Daily Responsibilities:

As a Vehicle Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with vehicle controller model-based development, focusing on process automation, testing, and validation of controllers to guarantee product quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to customer projects by developing analytical and testing methodologies for automotive subsystems and their controllers using simulation and automation scripts in MATLAB and Python.
  • Collaborating with various project stakeholders to assess control system performance for different vehicle subsystems such as Powertrain and ADAS through model-based techniques.
  • Supporting the exploration of development processes by prototyping models with Simulink and Amesim, along with MATLAB and Python scripts.
  • Engaging with global experts on Model-Based design methodologies to establish controller design, verification, and calibration processes.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations for technical and management teams.
  • Participating in technical and scheduling activities to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Compensation:

Hourly rate ranges from $40 to $50, contingent upon skills, experience, and educational background.
