Industrial Automation Engineer

Become a vital part of a forward-thinking team at Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics, focused on assisting clients in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating workplace hazards. As an Industrial Automation Engineer, your primary role will involve crafting IIoT solutions and integrating various systems utilizing the Ignition platform developed by Inductive Automation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients and colleagues to define project specifications.
- Develop tailored integration and development services to fulfill client requirements.
- Set up data collection systems for manufacturing floor equipment.
- Conduct data verification and system evaluations.
- Track and communicate project advancements.
- Provide training to users as required.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Ignition development and integration.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IIoT projects within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong skills in Python/Jython programming.
- Knowledge of Javascript and/or Java is advantageous.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
