Position Overview:

We are seeking a Territory Business Leader for the Advanced Wound Management division at Smith & Nephew. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) products across the designated region.


Role Summary:

As a Territory Business Leader, you will collaborate closely with the Area Vice President, District Managers, and Key Accounts Director to formulate and implement a comprehensive business strategy aimed at enhancing the market presence of Renasys and Pico products.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary authority on the complete S&N Negative Pressure product line and associated acquisition initiatives.
  • Effectively engage with C-Level executives, supply chain managers, and other key stakeholders to position our Negative Pressure solutions strategically.
  • Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Key Accounts teams to devise targeted action plans and manage the Negative Pressure sales pipeline.
  • Meet and exceed regional and district business objectives through strategic account management and compelling clinical presentations.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, guiding them from initial engagement through product evaluation to final contract execution.
  • Maintain strong, productive relationships with key customer contacts and industry thought leaders.
  • Exhibit advanced clinical knowledge of Negative Pressure therapy, serving as a resource for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with existing clients to assess performance against set goals and identify opportunities for expanding the S&N product portfolio.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA preferred. Candidates should possess 5-7+ years of experience in medical sales, ideally within capital equipment and NPWT sectors. Experience engaging with C-Suite executives and decision-makers in the healthcare sector is essential.


Travel Requirements:

This position requires up to 75% travel, including overnight stays.
