This is an Outside Sales Engineer role with a focus on power distribution solutions.

Position Overview:
Responsible for promoting and selling power distribution products, including MV/LV Switchgear, Switchboards, and Panelboards, through direct sales channels.

Your responsibilities will encompass establishing and nurturing relationships with medium and large Electrical Contractor accounts, as well as engaging with key end-user clients.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing comprehensive project package quotations to deliver a complete bill of materials to clients.

The primary territory for this position will be in the Nashville area, with a remote office setup.

We seek a candidate who is well-acquainted with the Nashville electrical equipment market and has built a trusted network with a core group of contractors, end users, or electrical distributors.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required. A minimum of years' experience in the sales of power distribution equipment, particularly MV/LV switchgear and switchboards, is essential. Experience in the Data Center market is advantageous.

A proven track record in negotiating medium to large project orders, successfully establishing new connections, and maintaining relationships with major contractors throughout the sales cycle is critical.

Experience in generating precise project proposals utilizing MV/LV switchgear to present a complete bid package is mandatory. We are looking for a self-driven individual with a high degree of professionalism, exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Collaborate with the Sales Director to create, implement, and continuously refine an agreed-upon Account plan. Identify and foster positive relationships with all decision-makers and influencers within accounts that affect current or future business.

Develop a deep understanding of the client’s purchasing process and identify revenue opportunities within designated accounts.

Capture client challenges and requirements, utilizing personal and internal resources to craft proposals that meet or exceed expectations. Follow the client purchasing journey to provide timely and relevant proposals. Ensure a smooth transition to the Platform Execution team and maintain oversight of all commercial engagements to ensure customer satisfaction and our performance as a vendor.

Be well-versed in the client's business, commercial conditions, structure, strategy, operations, and challenges to articulate opportunities, growth, and risks effectively.

Possess in-depth knowledge of products, services, and general business operations to communicate the value proposition to clients.

Serve as an effective advocate for the account, providing all internal stakeholders and functional departments with the necessary account-specific insights to enhance their contributions and add value to the client.

Responsible for managing forecasts and supplying information to the Sales Director for capacity planning.



Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. The offered pay will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, job location, specific responsibilities, and certifications.
