Role Summary:
We are looking for experienced presales specialists and architects in IT Service Operations, focusing on hands-on IT Service Management, data center technologies, DevOps, and enterprise architecture initiatives. This role emphasizes service modeling, discovery, event management, cloud automation, and orchestration on the ServiceNow platform.

The presales specialist/architect will leverage technical expertise to support customers during pre-sales engagements, showcasing the power and flexibility of IT Service and Operations Management on the ServiceNow SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales campaigns targeting IT Service Operations, utilizing hands-on experience with data center technologies and enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Maintain a portfolio of Service Operations solutions built on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design and implement programs that enable Solution Consultants to effectively demonstrate the value of Service Operations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to prospects and existing clients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Create and manage product demo scripts and maintain demonstration environments.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to provide field feedback and align on product roadmaps.
  • Understand business and technical challenges addressed by our products, including regulatory requirements and evolving business needs.
  • Provide mentorship and training to peers and colleagues within the organization.
  • Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements for potential clients.
  • Respond to Requests for Information/Proposal documents.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Stay informed on competitive analyses and key differentiators in the market.
  • Act as a regional team lead for practice activities as needed.
  • Coordinate with Sales Personnel and Professional Services to ensure smooth transitions during deployment.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrated pre-sales experience in the IT Operations Management or AI Ops domain.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management principles.
  • Proven track record of exceeding team quotas.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and business concepts effectively.
  • Experience with enterprise architectures.
  • In-depth understanding of service-oriented and distributed application architecture.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Management Platforms such as AWS, VMware, and BMC.
  • Solid experience in IT Operations, particularly in storage, networking, and computing within enterprise environments.
  • Experience with ITIL and CMDB implementations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
