Position Summary
The Construction Support Specialist will play a vital role in the enhancement and modernization of Department of Defense (DoD) facilities. This position is essential for providing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) and Information Technology (IT) electronic systems equipment, infrastructure, engineering, design, installation, and supply chain support.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the design, installation, termination, testing, and documentation of desktop devices, peripherals, and IT cabling systems in accordance with established government installation design plans (IDP).
2. Engage in various tasks related to the installation of IT infrastructure and C4ISR systems, including:
   a. Pulling, terminating, and organizing Ethernet and fiber optic cabling.
   b. Performing warehousing and general labor duties, such as inventory management, material handling, and equipment delivery.
3. Maintain and operate all designated warehouse and storage areas, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
4. Collaborate closely with Warehouse Supervisors, Engineering Technicians, and facility managers to meet customer and contractual obligations.
5. Contribute to all phases of IT infrastructure installation or upgrades, including:
   a. Assisting with the setup of racks, cabinets, and peripheral equipment.
   b. Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as certified.
6. Serve as an escort for services when necessary and assist in troubleshooting network infrastructure issues, coordinating with various disciplines such as networking, facilities, HVAC, electrical, and security.
7. Execute assignments that may not be fully standardized, including demolition and disposal of network and power infrastructure.
8. Take initiative for personal development by engaging in available training opportunities.

Essential Qualifications
- A valid state-issued Driver's License is required.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in warehousing, IT installation, construction, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Practical understanding of construction, service, maintenance, and facility operations.
- Ability to load and unload materials and equipment efficiently.
- Capable of performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
