Project Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Project Managers to create comprehensive project schedules
  • Coordinate with various teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery
  • Examine designs to pinpoint potential challenges and offer constructive feedback
  • Verify that construction plans adhere to regulatory and quality benchmarks
  • Track project expenditures and identify opportunities for cost efficiency
  • Provide estimates for materials, labor, and equipment costs
  • Implement quality assurance measures to uphold standards
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and building regulations
  • Conduct site inspections to assess work progress
  • Supervise construction operations for optimal efficiency and safety
  • Maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders
  • Compile progress reports for relevant parties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field with 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience in both ground-up commercial and tenant improvement projects
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Viewpoint Vista, Bluebeam, Procore
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
