Position Overview

Provide comprehensive technical expertise in mechanical systems by designing, managing, and implementing equipment solutions aligned with departmental business objectives to ensure organizational sustainability.



Key Responsibilities


• Develop, manage, and execute established evaluation processes for investment projects to meet business targets.

• Conduct equipment enhancement activities and decision-making processes to improve performance, empowering all associates to thrive.

• Ensure compliance with equipment installation standards to effectively enhance mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).

• Drive and support engineering solutions to resolve complex challenges, achieving departmental goals.

• Facilitate the introduction of new technologies and provide necessary technical training to promote continuous process improvements.

• Analyze data and gather customer feedback to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures to minimize impacts on safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and environmental factors.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures to ensure long-term production sustainability.

• Foster the development of self and colleagues through training and knowledge sharing to enhance the team's technical capabilities.

• Communicate engineering knowledge and updates to internal and external stakeholders to strengthen departmental and organizational performance.

• Identify equipment-related gaps and lead initiatives to enhance safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and environmental standards.



Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0-6 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Catia 3D Design or similar 3D design software.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create technical presentations.
  • Capability to instruct others.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing production environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and during shutdowns as needed.
  • Familiarity with automated and robotic equipment cells.
