Position Overview

The role involves providing expert technical guidance for mechanical systems by designing, managing, and implementing equipment solutions aligned with departmental business objectives to ensure sustainability.



Key Responsibilities


• Develop and oversee the established E-Flow (evaluation flow) for investment projects to meet business plan goals.

• Execute equipment enhancement initiatives and decision-making processes to improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with equipment installation standards (drawings, data) to enhance MTBF (mean time between failures) and MTTR (mean time to repair).

• Drive and support engineering solutions to resolve complex challenges and achieve departmental objectives.

• Facilitate the introduction of new technologies and provide relevant technical training to promote continuous improvement.

• Analyze data and customer feedback to identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate impacts on SQCDME (safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, environmental).

• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures to support long-term production sustainability.

• Foster the development of self and colleagues through training and knowledge sharing to enhance the team's technical capabilities.

• Communicate engineering insights and updates to all stakeholders to strengthen departmental and plant performance.

• Identify equipment-related gaps and lead initiatives to enhance SQCDME (safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, environmental).



Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 0-6 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Catia 3D Design or similar 3D design software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations.
  • Strong teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing production environment for 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and during shutdowns as required by business needs.
  • Experience with automated and robotic equipment cells.
