We are currently seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer.

Role Summary

As a Senior Power Systems Engineer at DLR Group, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of electrical systems, guiding projects from initial schematics to construction oversight across various building types. Collaborating with our integrated design teams, you will contribute to creating spaces that enhance human experiences through thoughtful design. Your responsibilities will include engaging in the design process for electrical systems and producing comprehensive engineering drawings and calculations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project objectives, goals, and documentation standards.
  • Develop electrical designs from initial concept through to construction completion.
  • Generate engineering design calculations and layouts.
  • Compile detailed engineering reports and narratives.
  • Coordinate electrical design needs with architectural, mechanical, and other disciplines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • 7-10 years of demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in power and lighting systems for complex projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM, particularly with Revit software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • LEED Accredited Professional status and experience with LEED or other green building certification processes.
  • Interest and experience in sustainable building design practices.
