About the Role

The Judge Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical products from prototype to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with sales teams to understand customer requests and develop innovative solutions to expand product capabilities and develop new products.
  • Research and design mechanical and electromechanical products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Coordinate activities from concept to design, including fabrication, manufacturing, application, installation, and repair plans.
  • Design mechatronic systems, machines, pressure vessels, instruments, controls, thermal, and heat transfer subsystems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on design and innovation best practices.
  • Organize and instruct fabrication activities, ensuring products and systems meet industry standards.
  • Design interface systems for machines, hardware, and software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD and CAE design and analysis).
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
  • Mechanical machine design experience, including product development and design, prototype, and manufacture.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • US citizenship.
