Job Summary:

Auberge Resorts Collection is seeking a highly skilled Talent & Culture Manager (HR Generalist) to join our Home Office team in Bethesda, MD. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for supporting the overall Talent & Culture strategy and providing guidance and training to property-level resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Administration and Support:
    • Provide technical support for HR/Payroll, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Compliance systems.
    • Assist with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and reconfiguration as needed.
    • Monitor and audit system functionality, including file transmissions.
  • Policies and Procedures:
    • Assist in standardizing policies and procedures across the organization.
    • Draft and maintain new Talent & Culture policies and procedures as needed.
    • Develop and deliver training materials and provide training to property-level support staff.
  • Administration, Reporting, and Analytics:
    • Manage turnover data and reporting.
    • Support property resources with compensation data requests and manage compensation policies and processes.
    • Assist with annual compensation survey cycles and reporting.
  • Property Support:
    • Field property queries on compensation, systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist with best practices and process improvement initiatives.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for Talent & Culture-related matters.
  • Talent & Culture Support:
    • Provide support to properties during Talent & Culture leadership transitions.
    • Assist with new openings and transitions.
  • Culture Liaison:
    • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for team members.
    • Manage the FMLA process.
    • Answer day-to-day questions and requests.
    • Assist in planning cultural events and celebrations.
  • Learning and Development Support:
    • Assist with Learning and Development initiatives, including ongoing administration of compliance training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a manager of the people (HR) function, preferably in hospitality.
  • A detailed and up-to-date understanding of employment laws.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations/training to large groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Ceridian Dayforce (HR/Payroll) or Alight (Benefits Administration).
  • Spanish language skills (verbal/written).
  • PHR or SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
