Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, providing guidance and support on sensitive HR matters.
  • Stay up-to-date on compliance updates and strategic matters, ensuring alignment with client culture and business priorities.
  • Identify and communicate complex HR issues to clients, seeking guidance when necessary to determine the best approach.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to achieve consensus and drive business results.
  • Participate in the preparation and delivery of formal client presentations, showcasing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Initiate difficult conversations with clients and internal stakeholders, providing timely and direct feedback to solve problems and improve working relationships.
  • Inform engagement leads of complex employee relations issues and situations, coming prepared with proposed solutions.
  • Develop and execute project plans according to defined scope of work, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Set client priorities with limited support and guidance, demonstrating your ability to work independently.
  • Alert engagement leads of potential scope creep and identify possible solutions.
  • Participate in business development discussions with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Contribute to the development of technical proposals in areas of specialty, showcasing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Encourage thought leadership through attending targeted events and writing blog articles, volunteering for webinars and speaking engagements.
  • Process payroll and other HR-related tasks with ease and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years' experience in Human Resources, with a strong generalist background.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or professional certification, such as SHRM-CP or CPP.
  • Broad and advanced generalist skills in most tactical and operational components of Human Resources, with the ability to apply knowledge to complex situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with all levels of employees and management.

Travel Requirements

  • This position may require local travel to client engagements, depending on the needs of the business.
