Position Overview: Edgesource is in search of a Financial Resource Analyst to assist with budget management and financial analysis tasks. This role involves regular collaboration with leadership, technical experts, and financial staff to oversee program execution, gather data for Benefit-Cost Ratios (BCRs), and ensure quality control in documentation. The analyst will facilitate understanding of resource needs, present financial updates to stakeholders, and contribute to the enhancement of business processes within the directorate. This position requires full-time, onsite engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with stakeholders on financial assignments.
  • Creating and presenting financial status reports to senior management during program reviews.
  • Advising leadership on improvements to business processes.
  • Formulating spending plans and managing fund allocation based on priorities.
  • Collaborating with project managers to clarify requirements and substantiate financial needs.
  • Evaluating program execution and monitoring expenditures against the budget.
  • Providing regular updates to leadership regarding financial status and proposing solutions.
  • Collecting data for BCR packages and managing Economy Act Transfers.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach.
  • Ability to strategize and build consensus among diverse groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with BASIS or COGNOS applications.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Federal Appropriations Law.
