Position Overview:

The Senior Portfolio Analyst plays a crucial role as a subject matter expert for the Equity ETF offerings at T. Rowe Price. This position involves representing investment portfolios throughout the organization and conducting comprehensive analysis to support key stakeholders. The Senior Analyst is tasked with ensuring the accuracy and consistency of investment communications across various regions and channels, thereby enhancing client service and asset retention for newly launched investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis

• Execute detailed analysis on designated investment strategies, considering market conditions, competitor insights, asset class dynamics, and portfolio construction to assist portfolio managers. This research directly supports marketing and client service initiatives.

• Develop tailored analyses to proactively address client inquiries in a timely manner on a global scale.

• Maintain expertise in market trends, portfolio management strategies, benchmarks, and peer performance to effectively support existing strategies and new product development.

• Craft nuanced investment messaging to communicate analytical results clearly to stakeholders, ensuring messages are customized for specific audiences.

• Deliver quarterly updates on strategy performance to keep the organization informed of investment outcomes and perspectives.

• Utilize various investment data applications to extract and analyze relevant investment data.

Collaboration with Investment Professionals

• Serve as a representative for portfolio managers in responding to inquiries from associates and clients, including follow-up questions from prospects and consultants.

• Act as a key resource for creating content, including presentations and analytical reports, that support investment staff and other business units.

• Provide insights from the investment team for the development and review of sales and marketing materials.

• Participate in or lead client meetings and investment reviews as needed.

Support for Franchise & Asset Class

• Build and maintain relationships to navigate the complex organizational structure and regulatory landscape to meet client needs.

• Educate and train teams on capital markets, investment strategies, and portfolio management, tailoring messages to specific business units.

• Assist in the preparation of RFPs and written commentaries related to assigned strategies.

• Support the entire sales process, including obtaining consultant ratings and preparing for client meetings.

• Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to enhance brand awareness globally.

• Mentor junior team members to foster their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience combined with 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in investment analysis.
  • CFA designation and/or advanced degree.
  • Expertise in specific asset classes.
  • Experience with institutional and intermediary investors.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage analytical projects effectively.
  • Skill in navigating organizational structures and building relationships.
Work Flexibility:

This position allows for remote work flexibility up to two days per week.
