The Analyst collaborates closely with portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, and senior analysts to ensure the consistency, accuracy, and integrity of investment communications across various regions and audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis
  • Perform comprehensive analysis on assigned investment portfolios, considering financial market conditions, competitor insights, asset class features, and portfolio construction to support the portfolio manager and team.
  • Generate tailored analyses, often under the guidance of senior analysts, to proactively address client concerns or respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in market trends, portfolio strategies, benchmarks, and peer performance to support existing initiatives and new product developments.
  • Craft high-quality investment messaging in collaboration with senior analysts to effectively communicate analysis results to stakeholders.
  • Deliver quarterly strategy updates to inform the organization about investment performance and perspectives on assigned strategies.
  • Enhance proficiency in multiple investment data applications to extract and analyze relevant data.
Collaboration with Investment Professionals
  • Support portfolio managers and specialists in addressing inquiries from associates and clients, including follow-up questions from prospects and consultants.
  • Contribute to the creation of investment content, including presentations and analytical reports, utilized by investment teams and other business units.
  • Provide insights for sales and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with investment staff perspectives.
  • Participate in client meetings and investment reviews as needed based on business requirements.
Franchise & Asset Class Support
  • Build and maintain relationships to navigate complex organizational structures and respond effectively to client needs.
  • Educate and train sales teams on assigned investment portfolios through various formats, including one-on-one coaching and group sessions.
  • Assist in franchise support for RFPs and written commentaries related to assigned strategies.
  • Support the complete sales cycle, including obtaining consultant ratings and client service follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to enhance brand awareness globally.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster their professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in investment analysis.
  • Progress towards or possession of CFA and/or a Master's degree.
  • Experience with various asset classes.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
