Team Overview

The Individual Investor (II) Product team is dedicated to providing investment solutions tailored to our clients' long-term financial goals. Our focus is on aligning our offerings with the firm's capabilities and objectives, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our clients. The II Product team plays a crucial role in articulating client investment needs and driving demand for our product offerings. We collaborate closely with teams involved in product distribution initiatives.

Role Overview

This position oversees the comprehensive range of products and investment vehicles available to Individual Investors. The role involves setting the strategic vision for our product line in collaboration with our Global Product teams. Responsibilities include developing the necessary infrastructure to ensure effective distribution of in-demand products that align with client needs and growth objectives. This role also serves as a primary communicator to the II leadership team regarding all product-related initiatives and acts as a consultant to partners in Marketing, Client Experience, and Client Engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the product and vehicle portfolio through strategic planning, development, and marketing across various client segments. Collaborate with Global Product teams to enhance existing offerings or introduce innovative features. Oversee the launch of new funds, modifications to existing funds, and related operational initiatives.
  • Define strategic positioning and target client segments for all products. Establish criteria for the development and marketing of new products and solutions. Translate complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions.
  • Guide product development based on market demands for Individual Investors while achieving sales targets. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist team members in navigating risk, legal, or compliance issues.
  • Work with business unit leaders to identify future product and service needs that support overall business strategy. Ensure alignment of products and services across different client segments.
  • Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering their individual contributions and professional growth.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred:
  • Experience in a larger product organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and financial markets.
Work Flexibility

This role offers the possibility of remote work up to two days a week.
