Team Overview
The Individual Investor (II) Product team is dedicated to aligning investment products and vehicles with client needs, ensuring we provide optimal investment strategies that cater to their long-term objectives. This team plays a crucial role in articulating client product requirements while responding to market demand effectively. They collaborate closely with various teams to support product distribution initiatives.
Role Overview
This position oversees the entire range of products and vehicles available to Individual Investors. The role involves setting the strategic vision for our product offerings in conjunction with our Global Product teams. It is essential to develop the necessary infrastructure to ensure that we can deliver in-demand products and vehicles that meet client expectations and drive growth for the II segment. This role also acts as a primary communicator to the II leadership regarding all product-related activities and serves as a consultant to partners in Marketing, Client Experience, and Client Engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the product and vehicle portfolio through strategic planning, development, and marketing across various client segments. Collaborate with Global Product teams to enhance existing offerings or introduce innovative features, overseeing fund launches and related operations.
- Establish strategic positioning and identify target client segments for all products. Define criteria for the development and marketing of new solutions, translating complex business challenges into actionable technical strategies.
- Guide product development initiatives based on market demands for II, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage with business unit leaders to identify future product and service needs that align with the overall business strategy.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a team, fostering their professional growth and maximizing their contributions.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a larger product organization.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and market dynamics.
This role allows for remote work flexibility up to two days a week.
