About this position/Role Overview:

The Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst (PIA) is an integral part of the Investment and Trading Solutions team, contributing to the Global Trading division. This role involves close collaboration with portfolio managers and traders to facilitate the daily execution and oversight of investment accounts and orders. The Senior PIA is also responsible for supporting the investment strategy and conducting ad-hoc analyses related to various investment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Modeling: Collaborate directly with the portfolio management team to model strategies on a daily basis, including exposure monitoring, trade allocations, and cash flow management.
  • Utilize internal systems designed for effective portfolio management and trade modeling.
  • Coordinate with analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and legal teams regarding portfolio and security transactions.
  • Oversee portfolio analytics and ensure accurate order generation throughout the trading cycle.
  • Assess interest rate and currency hedging information, along with other daily portfolio operations.
Typical Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income analytics and the ability to apply these concepts to resolve practical portfolio challenges.
  • Familiarity with the portfolio management process is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient use of technology combined with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of investments, portfolios, and financial markets.
  • Ability to swiftly process information, draw relevant conclusions, and summarize results effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing further education towards an advanced degree or professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA.
  • Understanding of derivatives and various asset classes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like R or Python, with a proven ability to apply these skills effectively.
FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not necessary and will not be supported for this position.

Work Flexibility

This role allows for remote work flexibility up to one day per week.
