The individual will prioritize marketing initiatives, advocate for necessary resources, and eliminate barriers to ensure the team meets its strategic objectives. Annual marketing plans will be developed for Advisor Marketing, collaborating with the team to design and implement effective campaigns.

The role involves promoting segment marketing within broader business contexts and cross-departmental collaborations, contributing to the creation and presentation of regular updates on strategic initiatives. Close collaboration with Marketing Analytics is essential to assess outcomes and share insights across marketing, sales, and leadership teams. The candidate will spearhead campaign strategies for intricate cross-channel projects, coordinating efforts across various departments to align stakeholders for successful delivery.

Successful candidates will possess extensive experience in retirement services and marketing, along with exceptional communication skills and a strong emphasis on relationship management. Proven experience in modern marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads the strategic planning process for the segment team as part of the annual integrated business planning cycle.
  • Ensures the delivery of compelling messaging across all campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Guides and mentors a team to engage effectively across all client interaction points, including web, email, social media, industry events, paid advertising, and sales materials.
  • Establishes key performance indicators to track the achievement of specific marketing goals aligned with business objectives.
  • Offers strategic insights on opportunities to enhance future lead generation initiatives.
  • Conducts research and leverages industry expertise to formulate marketing strategy recommendations for Retirement Plan Services.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops a small team, fostering their individual contributions, professional growth, and a culture of efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
  • Proven self-directed marketing leader with experience in strategy development, campaign execution, content creation, and lead generation.
  • Experience in leading and coaching high-performing marketing teams using agile methodologies.
  • A strong commitment to collaboration with key stakeholders across sales, product development, and client management.
Required Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in a management role.
Work Flexibility
This position allows for remote work flexibility up to two days per week.
