About this Role:

The Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst (PIA) is an integral part of the Investment and Trading Solutions division, collaborating closely with the Global Trading team. This role involves direct engagement with portfolio managers and traders to facilitate the daily implementation and oversight of investment accounts and orders. The Senior PIA is also responsible for supporting the investment strategy and conducting ad-hoc analyses related to various investment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Analysis: Collaborate directly with the portfolio management team to model strategies through exposure tracking, trade distribution, and cash flow oversight.
  • Utilize internal systems tailored for portfolio management and trade analysis.
  • Coordinate with analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and legal teams regarding portfolio and security transactions.
  • Oversee portfolio metrics and ensure accurate order execution throughout the trading cycle.
  • Provide precise information on interest rate and currency hedging, along with other daily portfolio activities.
Typical Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income analytics and the ability to apply these concepts to address practical portfolio challenges.
  • Familiarity with the portfolio management process is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient use of technology combined with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of investments, portfolios, and financial markets.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information, draw relevant conclusions, and effectively summarize results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing further education, such as an advanced degree or professional certifications like CFA, FRM, or CAIA.
  • Understanding of derivatives and various asset classes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as R or Python, with a proven ability to apply these skills effectively.
