Accounting Services Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations and development of the accounting and administrative team while collaborating with the operations department.

Coordinate, execute, and advocate for policies, procedures, and internal controls specific to the area.

Deliver comprehensive accounting support across all responsibilities, including accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, customer work management, job costing, and inventory management.

Ensure precise recording and recognition of revenue.

Implement process enhancements.

Assist with preparation for contract bids.

Create contracts and projects within the ERP system.

Manage the transition from bid to contract within the CRM.

Ensure understanding and compliance with customer contracts.

Facilitate communication between area operations and corporate office to address inquiries and requests.

Provide financial reports and analyses to area and corporate leadership, including project performance variances on a regular basis or as directed by senior management.

Oversee staffing needs for accounting and administrative functions.

Verify the internal consistency, completeness, and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents.

Ensure that internal and external audit requests and inquiries are addressed.

Maintain SOX compliance.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, administration, operations, or a related field.

At least 3 years of leadership experience in accounting, administration, operations, or a related area.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted in a standard indoor office setting.

Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice.

Must be able to read documents, utilize a computer, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Mobility is required within office, warehouse, and construction site environments.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Legal Requirements:

Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screenings.

Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify.

Satisfactory results from pre-employment background checks.
