Role Responsibilities:
As a Coating Technician, you will work alongside experienced supervisors, equipment operators, and pipefitters, gaining valuable skills and access to essential tools for success in the field.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing hand tools to excavate around existing utility structures to avoid damage.
  • Applying epoxy paint to natural steel pipelines.
  • Managing the loading and unloading of equipment and materials.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized worksite, free from hazards.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Assisting with additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of construction-related equipment.
  • The ability to work safely in close proximity to other workers and underground utilities.
  • A commitment to quality workmanship with a focus on safety.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations is advantageous.
  • Understanding of underground utilities and locator markings is preferred.

Work Environment:
Our work sites are primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions. All safety instructions are provided in English, and fluency is required.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires prolonged and repeated:
  • Lifting (including overhead, up to 50 lbs).
  • Standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and feeling.
  • Crouching and crawling.

Working safely necessitates quick and accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to maintain alertness.
